theme of the month : Body
week 1 :body
This month, we decided to talk about our BODY,
so for the first week, we introduced about our body in general,
focused a little bit more about our face, eyes, nose, ears, mouth…etc
week 2 : hands
teachers use flash cards,
wooden model, fun songs and games to introduce our hands,
including figures, shoulders, elbows…etc.
We also talked about what can we do with our hands,
it’s really a interesting topic that we can explore with these little kids.
week 3 :feet
After we learned about our hands last week,
of course it’s time to introduce our legs, feet, and toes.
Teachers asked kids to touch their own body parts to fit the picture on flash cards,
also talked about what can we do with our legs and feet.
week 4 :review body + thanksgiving
Last week in November, we reviewed all the body parts.
It’s really amazing that kids learn so fast, they can point out the correct body parts right away,
furthermore, some of them can even say it out loud, teachers are so proud of them.
We also introduced Thanksgiving in this week, teachers told the story about Thanksgiving,
and the meaning of sharing and thankful for the pepper who ever help us.
