theme of the month:
Chinese New Year + Continent
week 1 : Chinese New Year
It’s time to liven up for our Chinese new year!
Teachers used flash cards with CNY theme to introduced this biggest festival in a year,
such as New year Eve’s dinner, dancing dragons/lions, red envelopes, spring couplets..etc.
week 2 : Continent
this week we talked about continents,
it’s a bit challenging for little kids to understand this topic,
however, teachers use a globe to explain the concept,
and different colors to separate the 7 continents,
also mentioned about some features we can see when we travel there.
week 3+4 : spring break
