week 1 : spring
Teachers will use landscape images to talk about four seasons and four different images of a tree to show what is the difference between them.
We introduced spring this week by using a lot of pictures, such as landscapes of spring, flowers, caterpillar and butterfly, also lots of activities we can do during this lovely season.
week 2 : summer
Teachers use pictures such as summer landscape, beautiful beach, swimming pool, ice cream, surfing, building sand castle to show the kids what we usually do in summer time.
Also talk about what do we wear in summer time, shorts, tank top, sandals, swimsuit, sunglasses.
week 3 : Fall / Autumn
This week we learned things about Fall / Autumn which fits the season in Taiwan now, so kids can feel that difference in the air, it’s cooler and more windy days.
Teachers told the children that leaves change colors into orange, yellow, brown and red, some beautiful autumn trees and activities we can do in this colorful season, such as flying a kite, rake the leaves, jogging in the forest, collect the harvest, it’s the most busy time for framers in the whole year.
week 4 : winter / Halloween
For the last week in October, teachers introduced winter, we talked about how is the landscape looks like in winter, and mentioned what could we do in winter times, for example : ice skating, skiing, ice fishing, build a snowman…etc.
