week 1 : school
Our new theme of the month is occupation/ profession in the society, we pick up some jobs that kids can easily notice in the daily life.
This week we start from people who works in school, for example : teacher, coach, gardener, cleaner…etc.
week 2 : public service
After we learned jobs in school, this week we introduced some people who works in community, such as police officers, postman, firefighters, train driver…etc. Teachers use a mystery box to let kids play a matching game with flash cards, it was so much fun!
week 3 : hospital + restaurant
The weather is so nice this week, glad to saw everyone came in class full of energy! On Tuesday and Wednesday, teachers introduced people who works in a hospital or clinic, for Thursday and Friday we talked about jobs in a restaurant or bakery shop.
week 4 : review jobs and careers
Last week in January, we reviewed all occupations that we have been learned and add some interesting professions kids might notice in our daily life, such as: artist, photographer, singer, dancer… etc.
